We may collect information connected to your Group Moves profile, including followers, following, Top 6 Trips, profile preferences, and visibility settings.

Trip Information

When you create or join a trip, we may collect trip names, destinations, dates, trip members, itinerary items, packing lists, things to do, polls, budgets, expenses, settlements, activity updates, and other trip-related details.

Photos, Videos, and Media

If you upload photos, videos, cover images, or other media to a trip or profile, Group Moves stores and displays that content based on your app settings and trip permissions.

Expenses and Budget Information

Group Moves may collect expense titles, amounts, categories, budgets, balances, who paid, who owes, and related trip expense information. Group Moves does not collect your credit card number or banking information.

Purchases and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, payment is processed through Apple or another authorized app store/payment provider. We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as subscription status, product type, and transaction confirmation.

Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information

We may collect basic technical information such as device type, app version, crash reports, performance data, error logs, and app usage events to keep the app working properly and improve the user experience.

Location Information

Group Moves may allow users to manually enter trip destinations or locations. Group Moves does not collect precise GPS location unless a future feature asks for permission and you choose to allow it.

• Let users create, join, organize, and manage trips

• Display trip details, media, expenses, polls, and activity updates

• Help groups split expenses and track balances

• Send app notifications related to trips, invites, followers, expenses, and updates

3. How Information Is Shared

Group Moves does not sell your personal information.

With Trip Members

Trip details, expenses, media, polls, and activity may be visible to other members of the same trip based on your trip permissions and privacy settings.

With Other Users

Profile information, Top 6 Trips, followers/following, and selected public trip details may be visible to other users depending on your privacy settings.

With Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party services to help operate the app, including cloud storage, authentication, database hosting, app analytics, crash reporting, payment/subscription management, and customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Group Moves.

For Legal or Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Group Moves, our users, or others.

4. User Content and Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you upload or share through Group Moves. This includes photos, videos, trip information, comments, expenses, and other content.

You should only upload content that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload content that violates someone else’s rights, privacy, or safety.

5. Privacy Controls

Group Moves may provide settings that allow you to control what information is shown publicly or shared with others, including profile details, Top 6 Trips, trip media, trip locations, and other trip information.

You can also manage app notifications through your device settings.

6. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Group Moves, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your personal information, unless we are required or permitted to keep it for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or business reasons.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no app, website, database, or internet transmission is completely secure. You use Group Moves at your own risk.

8. Children’s Privacy

Group Moves is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
